These finely processed oils help pigment travel into the hair cortex more efficiently, so colour develops evenly and holds for longer, while the same oils work to seal the cuticle and keep strands feeling smooth once the colour has set.

Instead of ammonia, IGORA ZERO AMM relies on monoethanolamine (MEA) as its alkalising agent, so the mixture develops without the usual sting or lingering smell — something clients with sensitive scalps notice right away. The 4-0 shade itself reads as a neutral, balanced medium brown, making it a reliable choice for full-head colour, root touch-ups, or grey blending without pulling too warm or too ashy.
